Join us in helping our school save energy by converting to smart windows.

Smart windows are an emerging technology with increased used in aerospace and large buildings such as Netflix and academic buildings such as UCSF. We are proposing to take this idea and incorporating it in the K-12 school environment.
Although K-12 School buildings are smaller, collectively their annual electricity bill is about 6 billion dollars. Electrochromic windows can reduce that amount by 20%, if every school had this, collectively they would spend about 1.2 billion dollars less money on electricity. In addition we will use less fossil fuel and extend the future of our forests.
